boom roasted!

Because I have no boyfriend to text, I just have to brag:

I own chem 464 prelab quizzes!!!!

Going from getting anywhere between a 3 and a 7 on 465 quizzes last term to getting 9, 9.5, and tonight, a glorious 10 is the sweetest feeling ever.

Now I'm going to go finish my French reading and do 30 minutes of 391 writing. All while trying very hard not to fall asleep on my couch (my couch! I'm at home, and it's only midnight! This is dangerous, however, as I was at the chem building until 3 AM last night and am extremely tired today. Must. Stay. Awake.)

I hope you all are having lovely weeks. I just have one question: how do you cope with having far more to do than hours in the day/how can I get to bed earlier without changing my major?

Drop ballroom. At least the individual part, and maybe the team part too. And then don't add any more credits to your schedule (or if you have to to have 14 for scholarship, just make them easy, fun classes). I'm not saying you have to, I'm just saying that it would be a very good way to give yourself lots of time to do all sorts of things that you want to do (sleeping, dating...y'know) =)

um...this one's easy. just drop everything and make yourself go to bed. strap yourself in or take a sleeping pill if you must. haha. that's what i do. (except not the sleeping pill.) haha.

the secret to getting more done during the day is to get adequate sleep at night.

it's so true!

@jody - you strap yourself into bed? that's dedication!

Katie, I don't understand how you do it, especially when you have team in the morning. I stayed up past 12 one time and got sick the next day. Maybe I'm just getting old already, but I have to get enough sleep. I end up compromising my grades, but as Niell deGrass Tyson says, As aren't going to matter later in life (http://laboutloud.com/2009/05/episode-32-neil-degrasse-tyson-on-science-literacy/ Really great interview, I think you'd like it.)

Yeah, i don't know how you do it...the only thing I can think of is keep doing what you're doing or you will need to give something up. whether that's a casual assignment or ballroom or whatever, you cannot succeed in the long run without adequate sleep!

Get married. Don't know why, but that worked for me
